Responsibilities:
- Team Building and Management:
- Participate in the hiring and building of a high-performing Market Development team;
- Work closely with the Director of Enterprise Sales (CPaaS) to ensure a structured onboarding and training program to equip the Market Development team with the necessary skills and knowledge;
- Effectively manage and lead the team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support for individual and collective success;
- Promote a positive work environment, teamwork, and a customer-centric mindset.
- Processes and Performance:
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and tools to penetrate target markets.
- Work closely with the Director of Enterprise Sales (Global) to develop reporting tools and ensure the proper tracking of the pipeline, number of meetings, and market research work.
- Develop Key Performance Metrics and goals for the team and reporting mechanisms to drive accountability and motivation within the team;
- Monitor performance, conduct performance reviews, identify areas of improvement, and recognize achievements;
- Bring innovative ideas and strategies to drive sales effectiveness and enhance customer experience.
- Market Development Expansion:
- Understand the global market and identify new business opportunities to ensure overall sales success;
- Start building relationships with key enterprise clients across the region;
- Understand client’s needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's and Master’s degree in business administration, telecommunications management, or a related field is required;
- Extensive experience in the telecommunication industry in sales/business/market development or other relevant leadership roles;
- Strong team management and leadership skills;
- Proven track record of success in business development, with a focus on strategic markets;
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic market development plans to achieve revenue targets and long-term growth objectives;
- Strategic thinking to identify new business opportunities and market trends;
- Strong negotiation skills;
- Advanced knowledge of the English Language;
- Familiarity with telecommunications regulations and compliance requirements, as these can vary by region and country;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with employees, executives, and external stakeholders;
- A forward-thinking mindset to explore and implement innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness;
- Strong industry connections and the ability to leverage industry relationships for business development and partnership opportunities.
