Got Questions? We Have Answers

Can More Than One Person Use the Account?

Yes. Dexatel offers subaccounts that allow you to share your account with as many members of your sales team as you want. You can even monitor subaccounts from your main account.

Are My Payment Details Secure?

Dexatel doesn’t gather or store any information about your bank, credit card, or PayPal account. Your financial service provider carries out the payments, depending on which payment method you’re using.

Why Are Some of My Messages Not Delivered?

Your messages may sometimes fail to reach the intended recipients for reasons beyond Dexatel’s control. This can be because:
  • The recipient’s mobile phone is switched off or has no signal due to being outside the coverage area
  • The cell phone number is roaming due to the recipient being abroad
  • The mobile provider is experiencing difficulties
  • The carrier is blocking the text
  • The destination country or operator doesn’t support the sender ID you’re using. This can happen if you're sending SMS messages to multiple countries

Can I Cancel My Account at Any Time?

You can remove your payment details and cancel your account whenever you want. Dexatel doesn’t have a monthly or annual subscription-based plan, so there’s no commitment involved. This means you don't have to wait for the month or year to end in order to deactivate your account.

Can I Get a Refund for SMS Credits That I Didn’t Use?

Dexatel doesn’t refund unused text message credits except in special cases. You can request a refund by contacting our support team and mentioning your personal details and the reason you’re requesting the refund.

How Much Do I Pay for VAT?

The amount you’ll pay for VAT as part of the SMS service cost depends on where your company or organization is located and whether it has a VAT number. For example, EU customers with a company-registered VAT number can avoid paying tax by entering the number into their Dexatel account.

How Much Does the SMS Gateway Cost, and What Is the SMS API Pricing?

There’s no difference between the SMS gateway price and the cost of the SMS API. Sending and receiving text messages costs the same whether you’re using the SMS platform, the SMS API, or the gateway. This fixed cost doesn't account for volume discounts, which means the rates still go down with higher message volume.

Are There Any Additional Fees Involved?

Besides the SMS service pricing and the cost of phone numbers, your mobile carrier will set minor fees for sending and receiving SMS messages. The carrier fee depends on the mobile carrier you’re subscribed to.

Do Inbound and Outbound Messages Cost the Same?

The price to send SMS text messages is the same as the price to receive messages. However, carrier networks often charge a different carrier fee for inbound and outbound text messages.
