Why is this role important?
Optimal connectivity represents the backbone of success in Dexatel’s line of work. Procurement team is a newly established team in our organization and a person in this role will not only be responsible for handling existing connectivity partners and expanding the network, but also setting up working processes and the organization of the procurement team. An individual in this role is a self-driven and highly organized person, able to perform and deliver under pressure. This role is a combination of hands-on work and setting up strong foundations for a future leadership/coordinating role.
What you will be responsible for:
- Building the procurement team from scratch;
- Setting up working processes of the team, including goals and KPIs for the team and workflows;
- Driving operational responsibilities by constantly evaluating processes, procedures, and systems;
- Nurturing and expanding relationships with existing connectivity with MNOs, aggregators, other types of messaging providers;
- Expanding the company’s connectivity through onboarding of new suppliers (MNOs/MVNOs, aggregators, other types of messaging providers);
- Acquiring new partners to improve Dexatel's connectivity capabilities;
- Supplier cost optimization - essentially this team will be responsible for providing routes at the best rates and quality for aggregation sales and CpaaS sales teams;
- Setting up processes for smooth and efficient collaboration with Analytics, Customer Support, SMS aggregation and CPaaS sales teams;
- Implementing regulatory requirements across SMS aggregation sales;
- Preparing and presenting monthly and quarterly reports to improve processes and review goals and KPIs;
- Executing analysis, forecasts, and market research to stay up-to-date on industry developments and trends;
- Hiring, onboarding and managing a team.

- Understanding of the wholesale telecommunication space, especially international trends and new developments within the industry, ideally based on 5+ years of relevant experience;
- Good understanding of international and domestic connectivity options in EMEA countries;
- Track record of negotiating and closing multiple international Telco services agreements;
- Data-driven mentality with strong analytical and research skills;
- Ability to create and communicate certainty to internal and external decision makers;
- Ability to influence and build effective working relationships with all levels of the organization;
- Ability to manage time, organize and coordinate the work of others;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
