Senior Accountant

What you will do:

• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax reports and maintain compliance with all applicable Armenian tax regulations.
• Support external audits by preparing and organizing necessary documentation and ensuring efficient audit execution.
• Manage banking operations, including opening accounts, maintaining relationships with financial institutions, and overseeing transactions across various payment systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data sharing, supporting informed decision-making across the organization.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience in a senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of Armenian tax legislation.
• Good understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Advanced knowledge of the English language.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, with a strong focus on Excel and experience with accounting software/tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
